Bau to Architecture

Munich’s Bau expo, the largest and perhaps most sophisticated building materials trade fair is all set for January 12-17 at  Munich Trade Fair Center. More than 1800 exhibitors from around the world will be presenting their products. The exhibition grounds will also have sections specifically designated for issues in design such as universal design, ecological design and renovation and modernization. Apart from these, congresses, symposia, competitions and award ceremonies will also be included in this year’s expo.

So this Christmas, try saving up for your plane fare. And if you do need company, drunkondesign will be happy to go with you.

What now, Macau?

Despite the economic situation, life goes on. It may be tougher for some of the players in the design-related industries like the hospitality businesses but for those that focus on craftsmanship and quality, the future is not too dim.
